Any issues or questions please contact:
or via ClassDojo.
We would like to welcome you to Year 6.
Mrs Cashmore and Mrs Washington teach 6CW and Mrs Barber teaches 6B.
We are supported by Mrs Ince, Mrs Ogilvie and Mrs Murphy.
Mrs Ross Nichol also teaches the class for one afternoon per week.
Each week, we would appreciate an adult signing the children's 'Inspiring Reader' booklet as we would love your child to read at least three times a week to develop a love of reading.
Homework is given out each Wednesday and needs to be returned by the following Wednesday.
Spellings are tested every Wednesday and new spellings provided on the same day.
At the end of each half term the children will be tested on the 'common words'. You will find these placed in your child's 'Pirate' spelling book.
During Spring Term One the children will be completing a project entitled, 'Frozen Kingdom'. A curriculum topic web has been uploaded so you can view the areas of learning.
Here are examples of some of the purses we made in our DT project linked to , 'What makes me unique' . Each purse represented each individual. The children learnt how to complete different types of stitches. Well done to all the children.
