Welcome to 3/4L
Dear Parent and Carers,
Welcome to our class page. I hope the information on this page will help us work together to support the children achieve their full potential and flourish.
Please sign your child's reading section in their school planner to show that your child has read at least three times a week. We will continue to work on fluency and expression in school, and will further develop our understanding of the texts we are reading using a variety of comprehension activities.
Homework is provided every Monday and needs to be completed no later than the following Monday.
The children should already have been given a Multiplication card. Please can you spend time testing your child to improve the fast recall of each times table, ahead of the multiplication test for the year 4 children. The multiplication card can be found in the back of the planners.
Weekly spellings will be given to the children on Mondays. Children should practise their spellings in their planners. Please can children ensure they have their planners in school every day.
On PE days, the children can come to school in their PE kit. 3/4L have PE on Monday and Thursdays this term.
