Wonderful Walks, Maps and Recounts

The children at home and in school went for a wintry walk. When they got back they drew a map to show their route and labelled it with noun phrases to show what they had seen along the way. Finally the children wrote a recount. remebering to use the past tense, ther first person, time conjunctions and lots of extra detail to interest the reader. They finished with a concluding comment to say how they felt about the activity. ( Our writing is is progress, so we will continue to ad it as it is completed.)
